We are a community based organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing informed choices for children and adults with disabilities. We are uniquely qualified to offer a flexible range of cost sensitive, practical solutions to the challenges in life through our employment, residential, advocacy, therapeutic and educational programs.

Bridges was founded in 1956 and is a respected community organization based in Brevard County, Florida. We are privileged to provide residential, community employment, in-home supports and advocacy services to children and adults with disabilities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

One of Brevard’s oldest and most respected organizations for individuals with developmental disabilities, Bridges continues to build bridges to better lives through durable community partnerships and innovative programs.

In recent years we have been able to expand our award winning family liaison and early intervention programs, employment services, supported living, group home options and periodic in-home supports. This growth has occurred in spite of unfunded mandates, flat or reduced Medicaid reimbursement rates and an increasingly competitive labor market.

With the continued support of our business and service agency partners, sponsors, volunteers and our dedicated support staff and Board Members, the organization is poised to establish itself as the leading provider of innovative quality services on the Florida space coast and beyond.

We have established a new corporate identity, refreshed our business practices and have made a renewed commitment to providing person centered supports anyplace, anytime, anywhere.
